Paddy Wack

Irish Jig (Traditional)

In spite of its uncouth name, Paddy Wack, like many Irish jigs, is a tender and thoughtful tune – if you play it slowly.

Tune adapted from O'Neill, Dance Music of Ireland, as transcribed by Frank Nordberg, found in John Chambers's Music Book.

In theory, one should circle back and play the first two lines a second time before going on to the last four.

Draw the mouse or your finger, at a fairly slow, uniform speed, from left to right across the first row, then from right to left across the second row, etc.

For best results, make the window as wide as possible.
